REFLECTION
Experience: During this module, I learned how to conduct research on a specific topic. It was a difficult challenge for me because my writing skills were not strong, and the research took a long time to complete. I spent a lot of time reading articles and gathering information. It required a good understanding to use the data from these articles in my work. Organizing all the information was tough, but it helped me improve my research and thinking skills.
Observation: One important thing I noticed during this module was how crucial time management and planning are. Research for a dissertation cannot be done quickly. It requires consistent effort and attention to detail. I also realized that breaking the research into smaller tasks made it easier to stay focused. I found that using different sources to gather information was very helpful in understanding the topic better.
Findings: Through my research, I learned how complex design research can be, especially when gathering and interpreting data. Reviewing the literature helped me see gaps in existing knowledge and understand the bigger picture of my topic. I also realized that putting together information from different sources helped me shape my own ideas. Overall, this module taught me the importance of thorough research, critical thinking, and revising my work to make it better.
