REFLECTION
What have I learnt in this module?
In this module, I have learned about various design principles and how to identify them in different works of design. I practiced by finding my own examples that showcase these principles in task 1. This hands-on approach helped me understand how these principles work in real-world designs. Now, I've developed my ability to observe and identify these principles in different design works by studying a variety of examples and figuring out how they apply. Learning about them has helped me understand how to make my own designs better. Overall, this module has taught me how to create more effective and visually appealing designs.
What did I enjoy the most?
What I enjoyed most in this module was the feeling of achievement I got when I handed in my work. It felt satisfying to complete my tasks smoothly.
What did I not enjoy the most?
What I didn't like the most was when I didn't know how to start my design. It was frustrating and made the whole process less fun.
What have I learnt about myself through this module?
I realise that my time management skills could use some improvement. I often rushed to finish assignments at the last minute, which made me stressed and affected the quality of my work. This made me realise I need to change how I manage my time. I want to find better ways for prioritising my chores, scheduling my time wisely, and determining which ones are most important. If I improve my time management skills, I will be able to perform better in future modules and other aspects of my life.
What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?
In my learning journey, one thing that has changed is that I often procrastinate. However, one thing that has not changed is that I still take longer to do research than to actually do my work.
What could be improved in this module?
One improvement that could be made in this module is to allocate specific time slots for giving feedback to ensure that all students receive promptly and helpful feedback on their work.
